Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Classroom Prompt Builder (the “Service”) operated under the Prompt Anatomy brand. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
The Service is a free, browser-based prompt-building utility for K–12 teachers. It produces text prompts that you can copy and paste into third-party AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. The Service itself does not produce AI-generated content. The prompt builder is free. Optional paid PDF guides may be offered separately as downloadable digital products.
2. Acceptable use
- You may use the Service for educational planning, lesson design, assessment design, and professional practice.
- You may not use the Service to generate prompts intended to harass, discriminate against, or harm students, colleagues, or anyone else.
- You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- You are responsible for what you choose to type into form fields and what you choose to send to any third-party AI tool.
3. Responsible AI disclaimer
The Service helps you draft prompts. It does not produce verified educational content.
Outputs generated by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any other AI tool you use with our prompts may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or out of date. You must review and verify any AI output before using it in your classroom.
The Service is not a substitute for professional judgment, accredited curriculum, formal assessment, or standards-aligned review.
Do not use AI output as the sole basis for high-stakes decisions such as final grades, promotion, retention, special-education determinations, disciplinary actions, or college recommendations.
4. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Prompt Anatomy, its operators, or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
6. Intellectual property
“Classroom Prompt Builder” and “Prompt Anatomy” are trademarks of their respective owners. The Service’s code, design, and content are protected by applicable copyright laws. You may share lesson prompts you create using the Service. You may not republish the Service itself without permission.
7. Third-party services
The Service links to third-party AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini), Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional purchase emails, and other Prompt Anatomy properties. We do not control those services and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or policies.
8. Paid PDF guides
Paid PDF guides are one-time digital purchases. Stripe processes checkout and payment details; Prompt Anatomy does not store card numbers. After successful payment, the buyer receives a Stripe receipt email and a separate download email from Prompt Anatomy with a secure, time-limited download link valid for 7 days. The success page displayed right after payment also shows a one-click download button. If an email does not arrive within a few minutes, check the spam folder; if a link expires or delivery fails, contact info@promptanatomy.app from the purchase email address.
14-day no-questions refund. Within 14 days of purchase, request a refund by replying to your Stripe receipt email or by writing to info@promptanatomy.app from the purchase email address. We approve the refund through Stripe and revoke the download link. Outside the 14-day window, refunds are still handled case by case for duplicate purchases, failed delivery, or clear technical problems. Nothing in this section limits rights that may apply under consumer-protection law.
8a. Paid PDF guides — Classroom license
Each paid PDF guide is licensed to the named purchaser under a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable Classroom License.
Permitted uses:
- Use the guide for your own lesson planning, assessment design, professional learning, and classroom delivery.
- Share the guide privately with your immediate teaching team (co-teachers, mentor, instructional coach, department head) at the same school, for internal use only.
- Print copies of individual prompts, checklists, or templates for your own students and your own classroom use.
- Adapt prompts and templates from the guide into your own lesson materials with attribution “Based on Prompt Anatomy.”
Prohibited uses:
- Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the guide as-is, in part or in whole.
- Posting the guide (or any substantial portion of it) on public file-sharing services, public learning-management systems, public Drive folders, public websites, or social media.
- Distributing the guide across an entire school, district, or organization under a single purchase. School-wide and district-wide licenses are available on request via info@promptanatomy.app.
- Using the guide to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any AI model.
Violations of this license may result in revocation of the download link and termination of the license without refund.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Material updates will be reflected on the home page.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
